Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

Did you know that the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) licenses and regulates more than 50 professions and occupations, as well as insurance, real estate, banking/financial and utility services in Colorado? Taking just five minutes now to review important consumer information and using DORA's tools could help save you time and headaches later. Even if your consumer protection question isn't for DORA, they will work to get you to the right place for help. That's because consumer protection is our mission.

Bike Registration and Anti-Theft Tips

  • The Denver Police Department highly recommends that you always lock up your bicycles if they’re kept outside or in a garage. Registering your bike is a great tool that aids officers in the recovery of stolen bikes and helps ensure the bicycle is returned to its rightful owner. You may also register your bike at any police station or COP Shop. Click here and follow the Helpful Links on the right side of the Denver Police Department's webpage to register your bike. For more information on bike registration, bicycle auctions, and recovered bikes, contact:
